A full day simulation course aimed at nursing staff and middle grades and consultants in Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine and Anaesthesia

• Overview of ventilation strategies in children of different ages and a range of medical conditions
• Familiarity with setting up commonly used ventilators in paediatric patients
• Management of acute presentation of the critically unwell child
• Good team work in paediatric emergencies

• A workshop around ventilating children
•  Scenarios focusing on technical/non-technical skills in different paediatric emergency situations, exploring both CRM points and medical   management of the scenarios
