Communicating effectively with patients, relatives and colleagues has always been important and never more so than during the Coronavirus pandemic and it’s aftermath. Health Professionals are required to manage challenging conversations in person, over the telephone and also online.

Each medium of communication brings its own communication difficulties of course; conveying sad or bad news, managing expectations and dealing with strong emotions, are just a few examples of situations which Health Professionals face regularly, regardless of which medium is used.

This course creates a safe, supportive environment for working in small groups to explore these challenges and give participants the opportunity to enhance and develop skills and strategies to manage these difficult conversations confidently and effectively.
