Learning Outcomes

As a result of attending the course you will be able to:-

• Gain a better understanding of the roles of educational and named clinical Supervisors
• Understand how different people learn and how the learning cycle impacts on a trainee’s learning
• Have an overview of exception reporting and how it works at Barts Health
• Become familiar with the new Medical Curriculum 2019
• Manage the trainee in difficulty through diagnose, feedback and response
• Practise skills using relevant case studies

This workshop takes you through the background of educational supervision and the role of the educational supervisor. It also covers expectations associated with the position and suggestions as to how to implement the role effectively
