Learning Outcomes

As a result of attending the course you will be able to: -

  • To understand the purpose/responsibilities of Mentor, Supervisor and  Coach roles
  • To identify the differences/similarities between the roles,  and  when  to employ  each
  • To review the nature  of the coaching and  mentoring relationships
  • To examine key coaching and  mentoring skills
  • To practice the skills using  the GROW model
  • To explore  different coaching styles  and  when  to apply  them
