Paediatric NIV

All registered paediatric nurses, health care support workers and health professionals working in paediatric 

• To provide staff with theoretical knowledge to allow them to safely care and manage a child who has a tracheostomy and/or requiring NIV
• To ensure staffs working in paediatric are provided with the most up to date evidence based care practice and guidelines.

To ensure staff provide the same standard of care to all paediatric patients and comply with Trust and National objectives for patient safety.

To equip paediatric staff who is caring for children with a tracheostomy and/or Noninvasive ventilation (NIV), with evidence based knowledge and skills to safely manage a child with a tracheostomy and/or requiring non-invasive ventilation
