Care Certificate Programme

Course overview

The Care Certificate is an agreed set of standards that define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sectors.

The Care Certificate is made up of the 15 minimum standards that should be covered if you are 'new to care' and should form part of a robust induction programme.

This 4 day programme was specifically created for the development of newly appointed health care support workers/Rehab SW/MSW/Imaging Assistants/Bands 2-4 within the Trust to provide safe patient care. During this training and assessment programme you will be guided and supported to gain the knowledge and skills to provide high quality, safe and compassionate care.

Days 1-2 will take place in MEH Education Centre, Days 3-4 will take place in Newham College, Stratford Campus, Welfare Road London, E15 4HT

E-learning: to be completed along with attending the course, further info for the E-Learning will be given during the course.
