Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR)
Introduction
This workshop provides an introduction to the CESR process and takes delegates through the entire application process – from which evidence to include and how to present this clearly, common pitfalls and how to overcome them to preparing an effective CV. You will work in groups to assess the key requirements of a consultant within the modern National Health Service and there will also be advice and guidance on how you can gain your consultant post, complete with practise interviews.

As a result of attending the course you will: -
- Understand the CESR process
- Receive guidance on the documentation required
- Have an awareness of current NHS developments
- Know what to expect from a Consultant interview
- Be able to practice interview skills
